Ek Punjab Ye Bhi

The Hoshruba Repertory commissioned a set of portraits based on some fabulous character sketches from their new play “Ek Punjab ye bhi”. It was a project very different from work I have done before, and I took it up with much skepticism at my end, on my ability to do a good job of it. Despite my skepticism though, the final portraits were stunning, and very well received. Another one of my firsts this year, and I’m glad (for not listening to the skeptic me, and ) for working on this very interesting assignment.

This play, Ek Punjab Ye Bhi, is based on the short stories of Ali Akbar Natiq, and directed by Danish Husain. Starring Sadiya Siddiqui, Kunal Kapoor, Imran Rasheed, Gagan Dev Riar, Kirti Kulhari, Bhavna Pani, Namash Bhardwaj, Talib Mehdi, Nikkitasha Marwaha, Ravi Goswami, Mohit Agarwal and Danish Husain.
