Asma Kazi is a visual artist who specializes in creating mixed media art, which true to the rapidly changing current times is forever evolving. Her mode of expression swings from abstract expressionism, Figurative themes, to pop art, and the repetitive patterns in Zentangles. Sometimes drawing inspiration from the beauty in nature, the other times dwelling in the abstract of parallel universes and chaos theory. She creates her artwork on paper or canvas and enjoys creating wall art for homes and restaurants. Asma's work is of vibrant colours giving it an impression of festivity & of being in a carnival. The work is strongly symbolic in nature revolving around themes of chaos, duality, decay and the feminine. Asma is based in Pune, India and open to accepting commissions for paintings and murals from clients in India as well as a global audience. FAQ

Buying Art

  1. Can I pay for the art in installments?
    Yes.  You can buy art priced at INR 30,000 (Approx. USD 485) or higher in easy monthly installments across 2-4 months. For more details, write to asma.kazi@kaleidodrama.com. Your art will be shipped as soon as payment is received in full.
  2. Can I buy art online?
    Yes. You can buy the art of your choice online. The website supports all credit/debit cards and Paypal transactions. You can also make payment for the purchased art via direct bank transfer.

Commissioned Art

  1. When do I commission a piece of art?
    Artworks are typically commissioned by collectors, when they cannot find the artwork they like, in a size or color scheme, that would be more suited to their space at home or office. Also, when the client needs a very specific project related artwork created, in case of a commercial art assignment.
  2.  How do I commission a piece of art?
    – Send me a brief description, of what you would like the custom made painting to look like. The client specs typically include-
    – Required artwork dimensions
    – Color preferences, if any
    – An image of the room, in which the artwork will be installed
    – Wall dimensions
    – Mention of the artwork from my existent portfolio, on the basis of which you would like the artwork created.
    – In case of a portrait/figuratve painting, please send a high res reference image of the subject you would like painted.
  3. What is the payment schedule for a commissioned piece of art?
    50% of the payment to be made in advance, before the commencement of the project. The remainder of the monies due within 30 days of approving the completed painting and before shipment.

Returns

  1.  What is your return policy?
    – Inform the artist about the reason for return via email (asma.kazi@kaleidodrama.com) within 48 hours of receiving the original art.
    – Once you have received an original artwork, you have 48 hours to decide whether or not you’d like to keep that artwork or return it for a store credit, that can be used to purchase another artwork on the Kaleidodrama website.
    – The same store credit policy applies for any advance payments made towards commissioned art, and in case of returned commissioned artwork
    – You may return all original artwork within 7 working days of receiving the artwork, provided that it is returned via courier to the artist in its original condition and packaging.
    – For returns on Prints, refer to the return policy on the print partner website where the art was purchased.ed.

Make an offer

  1.  What is Make an offer ?
    This an option that lets you make an offer to buy an artwork for less than the current listed price.
  2. How do I make an offer? And how soon will I receive a response to offer?
    You can submit an offer via email and I’ll reply within 48 hours on my decision to lower the price to match your offer, or inform you of an alternative final pricing.

Shipping

  1. Within India
    The art is shipped via courier, and the expected delivery time in India is within 7 working days of receiving cleared payment.
  2.  Outside India
    The art is shipped via courier, and the expected delivery time is within 15-20 working days of receiving cleared payment.
  3.  What is your return policy?
