Qissebaazi, 2016

An exciting new way of storytelling! (And a new collaboration with The Hoshruba Repertory on the poster for their new production. It’s so against my grain to do work like this in a minimalistic style, very different from my other hyperactive work, & so this one was a little frustrating. But we finally have it, so Yay! Thank you Hemant Suthar & Danish Husain for guiding me out of the bhool bhulaiya of this one. )

Qissebaazi expands the idea of storytelling with its multilingual storytelling performance.
Each story will be performed in two languages each. The premiere show will be in Sanskrit,Hindi,Malayalam,Urdu & English.
