The opening night on 4th May 2024 for our show KALEIDOSCOPE at the TAO Art Gallery was all kinds of awesome. To be showcasing my art in Bombay, and celebrating it with my people, in the city I absolutely love, felt like coming home.

This group show is a bringing together of experimental contemporary artists who work with acrylic and mixed media on canvas to convey worlds of alternate surreality. Through the abstract, vivid patterns and optical illusions, the artist transports the viewer onto an experiential journey within their own imagination. And feature artworks from my Alien Landscapes and Freak Shake series alongside abstracts and surrealistic works by Aryka Fayzee, Kanika Gupta, Kartikey and Radhika Hamlai.

Curated by Sanjana Shah, this is a fun, lively and energetic body of works that creates an atmosphere of whimsy and beauty. Each of the artists brings to the exhibit their unique perspective and process, and viewing each of these pieces of art in person has been an immensely enriching experience.
