Alien Landscapes, 2018

Alien Landscapes, 2018

This inktober I let organic destiny kick in.
An exercise in following the breadcrumb trail
and connecting the dots
Of letting go a little
and trusting the process
Of inking one piece at a time, for thirty days.
Stories on stories
Stories side by side
Inking, so they fit together like a jigsaw puzzle
Or flourish organically like an overgrown lush terrarium. A coral reef, maybe.
Then sit akin a tealeaf reader, like I always do
Mapping splatters and drips
Watching patterns form, reform
Looking for signs.
