Cornucopia, 2020

Cornucopia, 2020

In the new year, I am adding to one of my favoritest series- Alien Landscapes. Why would you want to be a minimalist when you can be a colorful hyper maximalist like this, yeah? ❤

Of starry trails, spindles & a fungi bungee. As in case with the other artworks in the series , this too is inspired by organic ecosystems and fairytales .The brooding green cocoons of an alien kind, the wispy threads that seem like they’ve been embroidered into the artwork holding all the elements together, and starry trails; all pleated and tied together into cohesion. It has evolved with every paint splatter, repeating florets and stray line, and developed like a lush terrarium, in a land of dreams and abundance. I love the delicious chaos of it. Here’s the first from this series this year, I call it Cornucopia.
