Love & Other Things, 2021

For the love of sunny cocoons, happy berries, jelly beans and confetti. The painting depicts some of my favourite things, a fantastical carnival-esque world, complete with candy trails, a burst of the floral and biomorphic masses growing into an otherworldly ecosystem.
Like some of my other works, it is a piece about chaos and finding order in chaos. It is about metamorphosis, of letting go of the old and welcoming the new
This series – Alien landscapes, brings together imaginary multifarious ecosystems of biomorphic elements alongside the abiotic forms cohesively into a state of terrarium imitating conglomerates.
